FAQ: Titanium Machining Procurement

Why is titanium more difficult to machine than stainless steel?

Titanium has low thermal conductivity, meaning heat stays at the cutting edge. We solve this using high-pressure through-spindle coolant (up to 1,000 PSI) and specialized carbide coatings to ensure tool longevity and part accuracy.

Do you offer secondary treatments like anodizing or passivating?
